About the Double-check option

With Standard Request, you can choose an option called Double Check.
When you choose Double Check, you could have a document translated by a freelancer proofread by a second freelancer.

What is Double Check?

Double Check is to have a document translated by one freelancer re-checked by a second freelancer.
The second freelancer will take a look at the document with the translation’s purpose in mind, and will proofread it to further refine it.

What is the objective of Double Check?

Documents translated by freelancers who work on Standard Requests are already high in quality. However, by removing human errors, the translation becomes even more flawless.
Of course, a regular Standard Request will yield satisfying results, but by having the document checked from multiple perspectives, the translation will be further polished.

What is the level of the freelancers who do Double Check?

The freelancers who do Double Check all have high translation skills and are pre-selected by Conyac. Those who do Double Check have passed stricter requirements than that for Standard Requests.

When should I use the Double Check option?

Double Check is recommended for writings and print material that need to be accurately translated. It is especially useful for translations for business-related documents such as terms of service, contracts, catalogues.

How can I request the Double Check option?

To request a Double Check, please follow the instructions below.

1. Create a New Request, and then click on [Proceed to Options]
2. You will then be able to choose either the Premium option or/and the Double Check option.
3. The cost for the Double Check option is twice as much as a regular request.
4. After confirming the total cost, proceed to payment and finish submitting the request.
