The process of canceling a project request that has already been listed or canceling a service request differs depending on the progress of the job.
How to cancel
- <Project Requests>The project request has already been listed but work has not started yet.
- <Service Requests> Offer has been made to the freelancer, but no contract yet.
- <All> A contract has been made with the freelancer and work has already started.

Refunds after cancellation
<Project Requests>The project request has already been listed but work has not started yet.
- Choose the job you would like to cancel from the [All] tab on the homepage.
- The job details page will open. Click on the [End application period for this project.] button.
- A confirmation message will appear. Click [OK].
<Service Requests> Offer has been made to the freelancer, but no contract yet.
- Choose the job you would like to cancel from the [All] tab on the homepage.
- The job details page will open. Click on the [Cancel] button.
- A confirmation message will appear. Click [OK].
<All> A contract has already been made with the freelancer and work has started.
If a contract has already been made with the freelancer and the work has started, you will need to send a contract cancellation request to the freelancer, and the freelancer will need to accept it. Also, if the freelancer neither accepts nor declines the contract cancellation request after 2 weeks, the contract will automatically be canceled.
- Choose the job that you would like to cancel. Click on [...More] and choose [Cancel Contract]
- Enter the reason you would like to cancel the contract and click [Submit]
- A notification will be sent once the freelancer accepts and the contract is canceled.
Refunds
Once the contract has been canceled, the amount spent will be refunded to your Conyac account.
To confirm the refund, click on [Order History] at the top menu bar. Click the amount under "Coupon
Credit" (only for Standard/Light requests)" or "New Purchase" to check the money spent/refunded.
